Our Story

Hi all! I always wanted to own and operate a boutique in my hometown of Geneseo, New York. After leaving Geneseo to attend college and graduate school, I returned and began my teaching career at the local middle school. When I was home raising our two children, I decided to pursue my dream job. After finding the perfect space on Main Street in the village,  Market On Main became a reality. I officially opened for business in September of 2017. My  goal is to provide a wide variety of items for every occasion and purpose - whether is is a decor update for your home, a new piece of jewelry to treat yourself, or a gift for anyone on your list, I guarantee you will be able to find the perfect item at Market on Main! I have featured brands ahead of the trend, often finding and stocking items from popular brands that are later available at some of the most popular and well known stores around. This is affirming, but also inspires me to seek out unique, up-and-coming brands to bring to my customers. I hope you will stop in and shop soon!
